The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary is seeking a full-time Instructor of Italian. The position carries a 3/3 teaching load with a one-year contract (possibility of renewal for up to 5 years) beginning in August, 2011. The successful candidate will teach all levels of language instruction, including culture courses to be taught in Italian, and will supervise activities at the Italian House, in collaboration with the language house tutor (a native speaker in residence at the house each year).
