The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Exeter requires a fixed term Associate Teaching Fellow in Italian for the academic year 2010-11.
This 0.5 fte post is available from 27 September 2010 on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2011.
Teaching requirements will include: c. seven hours of teaching per week, involving lectures, seminars, tutorials and language teaching (and related marking), and the standard departmental allocation of administration and undergraduate supervision.
The appointee will have a PhD completed or near to completion, and will be required to demonstrate a capacity for high-quality research-led teaching at university level. S/he will preferably be a specialist in twentieth-century Italian literature and culture.
The salary will be £24,273 Grade E Point 23 (pro rata).
