Responsibilities:
Fact-check articles for monthly consumer travel magazine and editorial content, including online and digital, at a fast pace and under deadline pressure. Undertake general research on a range of travel subjects, from destinations to industry trends. Propose and write items and small articles for front of book. Assign and edit department sections and columns. Perform other job related duties.

Required Qualifications:
Prior magazine experience. Excellent research skills. Position requires fluency (spoken, written, reading)in at least one major foreign language, preferably French; second language: Italian. Editorial and fact-checking experience. Flexibility in handling multiple assignments while maintaining highest degree of accuracy and meeting deadlines. Broad range of knowledge in subjects including geography, history, literature, art, music, and popular culture; familiarity with InCopy publishing system. College degree preferred.
