We are currently seeking a Language Production Project Manager Language Development department.This position will be responsible for ensuring that the Language Project(s) assigned are delivered on time and to the required quality bar.

Responsibilities


Collaborate with team members in scoping and planning of Rosetta Stone Language Production projects

Manage projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements

Manage freelance translators, editors and voice talent:

Negotiate contracts and review job specifications

Monitor performance and manage quality assurance reviews of product translation, editing and voicing

Collaborate with production teams and manage implementation of project-specific procedures and solutions


Ensure efficient use of project budget and human resources to maximize efficiency and profitability

Ensure that project-specific issues are resolved quickly and effectively, and facilitate clear and effective communication between internal and external project stakeholders.

Contribute towards the continual improvements in the effectiveness of the Language Production Project Management Team

Requirements


Three to five years of Project Management experience, preferably in a localization or translation environment

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Please note that this position requires relocation to Harrisonburg,VA.

Excellent English written and oral communication skills

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience in managing software-based projects an asset

Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project is an asset

Preferred Skills

Exposure to ONE of the following languages would be an asset: Swedish, Norwegian or another Scandinavian language (native-level); Italian (native-level), Polish, Thai, Pashto; Farsi (Persian), Dutch, Swahili or German

PMP certification would be an asset
