The Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University seeks full-time long term lecturer or senior lecturer, based on qualifications and experience, to teach and coordinate Italian language courses beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year.

Qualifications
M.A. degree or foreign equivalent in Italian language or linguistics, Foreign Language Education or a related
field, three years professional teaching experience in higher education, TA training experience, and Native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English.
Preference will be given to candidates with preparation in pedagogy or second language acquisition. Expertise in adapting technology to language instruction highly desirable.
