Job Summary: Bucknell University invites applications for an entry-level, one-year visiting assistant professor position in Italian Studies. Specialization: 19th or 20th century Italian literature/culture or Italian cinema. Candidate should be able to teach all levels of Italian language and culture as well as general education courses in English. We are particularly interested in individuals with strong experience in language instruction and experience (or demonstrated interest) in teaching a course on Italian cinema. Teaching responsibilities will include all levels of language instruction, literature and culture courses, and general education courses.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements: Ph.D. in Italian Studies, native or near-native fluency in Italian, evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching, and a strong interest in liberal arts education.
