The Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics, in The College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, Senior Lecturer in Italian Language, Literature and Culture. The successful candidate will develop curriculum for Italian language courses, supervise adjunct faculty, and teach a 3/3 load. Teaching will be primarily in 100-200-level Italian Language courses, with the possibility to occasionally teach at the upper-division. Additional administrative duties as assigned by department chair, including but not limited to placement exam administration, professional development leadership and participation, advising, and committee service. Ph.D. in Italian Language, Literature and Culture, or related field, preferred. Salary is competitive. Application deadline is April 27, 2015. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
