Job Description:
The Foreign Language Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering age and ability appropriate curriculum to high school aged students. The Foreign Language Teacher will work actively and collaboratively with other teachers, program staff, students, and parents to support the growth of each student. The Foreign Language Teacher will be willing and able to teach the following courses: FRENCH, ITALIAN (and/or LATIN), CHINESE, AND ARABIC. The Foreign Language Teacher will have the ability to reach all students and present lessons in an exciting and informative fashion. This position will have some liberty with curriculum design and development. Class size limited to twelve students. The successful candidate will be willing and able to facilitate a physical activity.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years of age, and willing to work in our year-round alcohol, drug, and tobacco-free environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with relevant experience; preference given to Master’s level or higher education. Candidates should be charismatic, magnetic, creative, energetic, caring and compassionate, while at the same time being flexible, and professional. Drug screen, background check, and fingerprinting required. Valid driver’s license required, driver’s license with type-II bus endorsement a PLUS.
