The Department of Art at Vassar College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor beginning Fall 2008.

We seek a scholar committed to teaching Italian art from 1400-1700. Teaching responsibilities include participation in a team-taught survey, two intermediate courses, and one advanced seminar each year. Advising majors and senior theses is also expected.

Ph.D. is required, teaching experience and publications preferable.
